The Spiritual Life Vision Group exists to make concrete and visible our commitment to spiritual formation. We support individual and group initiatives and facilitate collaboration for projects and ongoing activities.

·       Sunday Worship Teams. If you would like to serve as an usher, scripture reader or liturgist, or offer a Children’s Message at Sunday worship, please use the contact listed above.

·       Worship Arts. Volunteers create artwork for the sanctuary space to enhance the worship experience of the congregation. Let the office know if you are interested.

·       Choir. We are a delightful and diverse group brought together by a love for music and the joy we find in each other’s company. Join us! Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:15–9:00 PM September–June. Contact the church office for more information.

·       Adult Education on Sunday Morning. Lively discussions and a light breakfast at 9:00, September–June. For information about current topics, please sign up for our notifications on our main page. If you would like to lead a session or a series, contact the church office.

·       Children’s Sunday School meets during worship following the Children’s Message. Learning with and from the children of WUMC is wonderful.

·       Children Youth & Family Programs. Exciting ideas are under development! For inspiration and more information, contact the Director of Children, Youth, and Families.

·       The Open-Hearted Awareness Practice Group meets monthly on the third Tuesday from 7:00–8:30 PM in the Adult Ed Room. Using practices provided in Loch Kelly’s book, The Way of Effortless Mindfulness, the group uses different methods that point to ever-present awareness, available to all of us, regardless of our religion, culture, nation, or belief system. Participants don’t need prior experience with meditation and are free to come, each month, as they are able. All offer wonderful opportunities to share your gifts and deepen your spiritual life.
